| This is a shopping cart package from Cactusoft
based on the Active Server Pages server-side scripting system for
Microsoft IIS servers. It is
intended for developers and those with some basic ASP or scripting knowledge - it won't
install itself or automatically import all your existing records! But it
will give you a solid base to develop an e-commerce web site on. |

| The system is based on an Access 2000 database file
(97 version available from our web site) but can be easily upgraded to SQL Server
or MySQL (Windows) for higher spec applications. CactuShop runs the entire
e-commerce offerings of
at least one major UK high-street retailer and is used by numerous
companies of various sizes around the world. |
| CactuShop is designed to be easy to set up and
customize. The visual appearance of the site is controlled from an HTML
'skin', a template which allows quick and extensive changes to be made
across the whole site. Further skins are available as free downloads from
our site. Most configuration
and all data entry (including uploading product images) can be done from
the back end. But being scripts, the code can be easily customized too -
allowing virtually any feature or modification to be incorporated. |
